Thousand-Miler: Adventures Hiking the Ice Age Trail

November 15, 2022 @ 6:00 pm

Free

Join us for stunning photos and tales of the trails as Melanie Radzicki McManus shares the adventure of hiking the entire Ice Age Trail! A freelance writer specializing in hiking, travel and fitness, Melanie has hiked more than 9,000 miles around the globe in the last decade, including thru-hikes of six of America’s 11 National Scenic Trails. Melanie will also give you an overview of the National Scenic Trail system, and share why Wisconsin’s Ice Age National Scenic Trail — part of which runs through Fond du Lac County — is so special. This event is held in partnership with the Fond du Lac Public Library, and will take place in the McLane Room of the Public Library on November 15, 2022, at 6PM. We send a big thank you the Public Library, and to our sponsor: Lunar & Lake Book Market!
