Mother-Daughter Victorian Tea

July 28 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

$5

Ladies, join us for a special Mother-Daughter Tea! We’re planning a lovely afternoon tea complete with tasty treats, a small craft, and special program. If you’re a mother or a daughter, you’re welcome to attend and bring your mother, daughter, grandmother, granddaughter, aunt, niece, and/or friend! Gift offered to those who bring 3 generations of the same family!

Local author Linda Jane Niedfeldt (Janie) will speak on journaling versus memoir writing. Janie penned her own memoir, “Psalms in My Backpack,” and will encourage us to record our families’ stories to pass down generation to generation.

Janie is also the author of a coloring storybook, “Hiking with Harlow;” a guided journal; and five historical fiction novels for children and young adults, all part of the Lisenka series; just released is “BLUE As in Sad Goodbyes, a Changing Sky, and Wedding Ties.”

All books will be available for purchase and for signing at the tea!

Please note: If you would like to see the Historic Galloway House and Village, please be aware the last Galloway House Tour starts at 2pm, and the House and Village will be closed for the day at 3pm. Cost to tour the House and Village is $10/person; 6 and under and members are free.
