Garden~Art Stroll
A big THANK YOU to the well over one thousand guests who attended the Burdocks and Rust Garden~Art Stroll, held July 28-30! Bob and Julie Kissinger once again opened up their charming and historic property, Burdocks and Rust, for a Garden~Art Stroll to benefit local charities. Approximately 1500 visitors enjoyed the overflowing flowerbeds, a tour through the restored farmhouse, themed patios, and historic outbuildings.
Nestled in structures throughout the property, talented local artisans visited with guests as they shopped for that “special something.” Thanks to Bob and Julie’s generosity, there was no admission fee for the Garden~Art Stroll, but donations were accepted.
The Kissingers then donated the entire amount collected to the Fond du Lac Salvation Army, Rosendale Historical Society, and our own Fond du Lac County Historical Society. We are so grateful to the Bob and Julie for hosting this great event, for their generosity, and for the generosity of all who gave.
