Galloway House and Village Grand Reopening

We invite you to join us at the Grand Reopening of the Galloway House and Village! Our historic late-19th century village will be opening for the 2021 season on Saturday, May 29 and Sunday, May 30 from 12pm-7pm. The event will feature live music, food and drink, and other entertainment, as well as a unique living history experience throughout the village.

With support from our generous Capital Campaign donors, the Galloway House and Village has undergone transformative restoration and renovation projects in order to preserve our local history for future generations. These renovations include new foundations, siding and painting, roof repairs, door and window replacements, porch restoration, and flooring replacement. Other improvements include new, wider sidewalks, a new drainage system to reduce flooding, and a new entrance gate. Throughout the renovation process, the key priority has been to keep the historic integrity of our village structures while strengthening them to last for decades to come. See these renovations and improvements for yourself as we showcase them during our Grand Reopening event.

After our Grand Reopening, the Galloway House and Village will be open to the public through Labor Day weekend. Regular hours are as follows:

Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday – 11am – 4pm
Saturday & Sunday – 10am – 5pm
